The good thing about one of your bigger siblings hogging the seed feeder, and you having to pick up what you can from the ground underneath it, is that you wind up inadvertently saving quite a lot about your person that you can snack on when you groom yourself later.

That’s really all I have to say about today, except that I’m enormously grateful to the NHS, and specifically the out-of-hours GP service at Warwick Hospital. I think that many of us who’ve enjoyed its presence all of our lives take this service too much for granted, and we should be very aware that some of those who govern us would like to see it dismantled and sold off. It’s worth fighting for, and we should be prepared to do so.
