OK – I’m done.
Gifts have been bought and wrapped; food has been ordered; rooms have been decorated. One child is due back in the Shire this evening, and the other will turn up sooner or later.
Tomorrow I’m expecting a large grocery delivery, a husband bearing turkey, and a macro lens.
I bought these roses today, on my positively last trip into Stratford before the festivities kick off. Unfortunately I’d forgotten that it’s the solstice and by the time I got home the light had completely disappeared, so I wound up having to shoot them under the kitchen lights. LED downlighters: total nightmare. Anyway, after much faffing around in Lightroom, this is my offering for today.
“Hold on… did she say macro lens….?”
