Flower Friday

By this morning the storm of last night had played itself out, and the day began very promisingly. Sadly, by late morning the cloud had rolled back in and the temperature was dropping, but at least we were spared any more rain.

I had another busy day, though I finished it with no sense of having achieved very much, and what with one thing and another I only managed a few Plumpie photos – so it’s lucky that I happen to like this one. I’m still mainly using the 100-500 lens, to avoid upsetting the little guys and scaring them off their flowers, but when a long zoom is as sharp as this, the macro is almost redundant.
