Today has been a day of failing to achieve most of the things that were on my to-do list, owing to letting myself be sidetracked onto time-wasting nonsense. To make matters worse, R has just cast a glance at my diary and pointed out that I was supposed to have been in Evesham this afternoon, donating blood. You might think that it would have been more helpful if he’d mentioned it eight hours ago, but I couldn’t possibly comment.
[That was a joke, by the way: I don’t consider him to be responsible for my diary, any more than I accept responsibility for his. Despite current appearances, I’m really quite grown up now.]In other, better news: this is one of last week’s cheap supermarket flowers, still going strong after eight days. I may well be returning there next week to buy some more! It’s my entry for this week’s Flower Friday, hosted by BikerBear: thank you Anni, for continuing to run this lovely challenge.
Thanks also to everyone who was nice about yesterday’s stormy image – you may have spotted that I didn’t have a great deal of confidence in it, and I’m very grateful for all the nice comments, and the stars and hearts you awarded it.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
