Baby B attended his first Cardiff Animation Festival today, and managed to obtain a short meeting with its founder and director, a.k.a. ‘Muma’ (or more often ‘Dada’, which is currently the preferred proper noun for all blood relatives, including his 10-month old cousin). All I required to be able to record this moment was that they both stayed still for a split second, but apparently that was too much to ask. Frankly, I’d rather work with wildlife.

Seriously, R and I had a lovely day with the little man, and felt privileged to be spending six hours in his company so soon after our last visit. Now though, we’re both toadally zorsted, and an evening slumped on the sofa with Netflix and a small bucket of red wine is beckoning.
