It was a slightly warmer day today, though still quite windy. After breakfast R and I went to Broadway, and walked to the top of the Upper High Street – we both love this part of the village, and it’s a good old yomp up the lower slopes of Fish Hill. This used to be a section of the A44 before they re-routed the road to stop out-of-control vehicles careering down it, but now it’s very quiet: apart from the (lucky) residents it’s mainly used by dog walkers. The Cotswold Way branches off the lower section of the road, providing a walking route right up to the Broadway Tower, which we might try another time if we’re feeling especially fit.
After coffee and window shopping we came home and did gardening. Eeeurgh.
