Mono Monday: Winter

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

What does winter mean to me? Well, obviously the Carnival of Venice, which is held in late January and early February, and which R and I have attended every year since 1986. I am already working on my costume for next year’s Grand Masquerade Ball.

Sadly, this is not true – though this is a genuine mask, bought from the wife of the mask-maker in Burano. On a sweltering day in August.

More information about the Carnival here, a great set of photos of the 2015 Carnival here and the opportunity to book for 2016 via the official web site here. See you all in Venice!
